Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-19. Plain English, no surprises.
The short version
You can browse TeslaStack without an account. We only collect what you choose to type into one of our three forms, we store it on Cloudflare, and we don't sell it.
What we collect through forms
- Submit an app: the app details you enter (name, URL, category, platforms, pricing, permissions, repository, description) and, if you add it, your email so we can follow up.
- Advertise / contact: your name (optional), company, email and message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
With each form entry we also save the time it was sent, the page it came from, your browser's user-agent string and the country Cloudflare estimates from your connection. We don't store your IP address with your entry. To stop spam, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for up to an hour as a rate-limit counter, then it expires automatically.
Where it's stored
Form entries are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, part of the Cloudflare account that runs this site. Cloudflare processes data on our behalf as our hosting provider; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. Only the site owner can export the entries.
How we use it
- App submissions: to review, verify and publish listings. Published listings contain public facts about the app, never your email.
- Contact messages: to reply to you about advertising, corrections or your question.
- Newsletter emails: to send The TeslaStack Weekly. We plan to move the list to a newsletter provider (beehiiv). If we do, your email will be transferred there only to send the newsletter, and every issue will include an unsubscribe link.
We don't sell, rent or share your information with advertisers. Featured-listing sponsors never get our subscriber list.
How long we keep it
Submissions and contact messages are kept as long as we need them to handle the request and keep a record of listings, and are reviewed at least yearly. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Cookies and analytics
TeslaStack doesn't set cookies or use third-party ad trackers. Cloudflare, our host, may process basic technical data (such as IP address and request logs) to deliver and protect the site.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links, mostly on the Accessories page, may be affiliate links. If you click one, the shop you visit may use its own cookies to credit us for a sale. That happens on their site under their privacy policy. See our affiliate disclosure.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete anything you've sent us, or to unsubscribe you, using the contact form. Mention "privacy request" and the email you used.
Children
TeslaStack is not aimed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
